Who are we, the “Christian Friends of Israel?”

Mandate to bless His people with you

As Christians, we have received from God a love for Israel and the Jewish people. We want to bless them in the name of the Lord. We believe the Lord Jesus is both the Messiah of Israel and Savior of the world; however, our stand alongside Israel is not conditional upon her acceptance of our belief. We exist to comfort and to support the people of Israel and to inform Christians around the world about God’s plans for Israel.

Christian Friends of Israel believes that it is important to bring awareness to the Jewish people of our solidarity with them. It is through your donations to our many outreach projects that we are physically able to carry your expression of love to communities─that are not only under attack─but to the many victims of terror, as well.

We take items of relief to individuals in the IDF, help needy congregations in the land, comfort survivors of concentration camps and ghettos, equip and encourage the Jewish-Ethiopian community, which struggles to adjust to Israeli societyas well as reach out with aid to the poor, war veterans, and the widows and orphans throughout the nations of Israel.

CFI’s Lighthouse Distribution Center provides an outlet for individuals throughout Israel to come to us. The Center serves those who have recently made Aliyah (come home) and for elderly pensioners to come and shop in our uniquely designed clothing store. Those new to the land also receive a free gift bag that contains NEW items such as towels, pots, pans, electric kettles, sheets, blanket, items for the Shabbat and a Tanach. We also assist others in need at our Center when referred by a coordinator. The CFI Bridal Salon, which provides wedding gowns, tuxedos, accessories, and more, is also located in our Lighthouse building.

We firmly believe that it is of the upmost importance for you, the Church, to be continually updated concerning your responsibility toward the Jewish people. Since we are your eyes and ears here in the land, when we travel and speak throughout the nations, it enables us to give the church a first-hand look at what is happening in the land and clear up questions of confusion.

We are also able to set right the anti-Israel bias that is being propagandized by the secular media, with our hope of solidifying your stance and understanding as to why the Church MUST be in solidarity with the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. So remember, you won’t want to lose your blessing!

It is my hope that you will seek the face of God, the God of Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob, and ask Him how you can make a difference here in Israel, in this year. Please pray that He will show you how He would have you handle the people that He calls “the very pupil (the apple) of  His eye”(Zechariah 2:8/2b NAS) Stacey Howard  (Excerpts: “Blessings from Jerusalem” by Stacey Howard, International Director of CFI, For Zions’ Sake 4thQ 2016.)
